He knows when you are sleeping. He knows when you're awake. That worries me!

The best Tim Gunn line ever!!!! If you watched the Project Runway finale, and saw the Lifetime "Fa La La La La" commercial, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I won't get into the woe is me thing, but I had major flu AGAIN over thanksgiving holiday. The sad part is, because I was feeling like total Poo I couldn't eat anything on Thanksgiving day and worse I didn't take one single picture of my sweet family. I wanted to get pictures of the boys playing together especially. Both my sisters and their families came from ATL.

This is the first year there were NO tears with Santa! Judah was so excited to see him and told him he wanted a race car for Christmas!

Life according to Judah.....

There are few things better than seeing your baby grow to a point where they can actually carry on conversations with you and let you know what is going on their head! It's so fun to have little conversations with Judah and man, does he come up with some doozies:

1. Jesus' car
We were driving down Dorchester Rd and I saw a big white cross in the lawn of a church. I pointed it out to Judah and said, look at that white thing. Do you know what it is? And he said he didn't know. I told him it was Jesus' cross! Right away, he points to the beat up old chevy next to us and says, Mama, that's Jesus' car!  I was pretty confused why he said that until the car drove up past my window and I saw they had a cross sticker on the rear window!

2. Quinn's translator
I always ask Judah what Quinn says, just to hear his answer (of course, Quinn is usually saying mamamamama, bah bah bah bah, dadadadada, papapapapapa)... yesterday I asked him what Quinn said and Judah replied "Quinn said I love Judah". That's awesome, at least he didn't say "Quinn admitted he was the one that broke the toy box"....

3. Little Narc
Everyday I ask Judah what he did in school and if he was a good boy. One day he told me "I slapped Heyden".  I thought, he must be saying that wrong, Heyden must've slapped him- certainly my child wasn't telling on himself?? So I said, Heyden must've slapped you! And I told him that he needs to tell Heyden to be nice and not hit. When I spoke to his teacher the next day, I asked her how he did the day before (since she was gone when I picked them up from daycare the day before and the other teacher hadn't been told how he had done that day) and she said he was very good, except out of the blue he slapped Heyden in the afternoon and went to the principal's office! What do you know.... I'll believe him from now on!

4. "Art"
I was letting Judah color at the table while I made dinner. Since all was quiet I figured he was sitting there like a little angel coloring his picture. Next thing he runs up to me with the biggest smile on his face and says "Mama, I drew you picture on wall".. Sho 'nuff. And on our BRAND new kitchen paint. I burst out laughing, then I got on my knee and said very seriously, thank you very much for my drawing, but if you ever, EVER color on the wall again, you'll be in BIG trouble! Let's hope he gets the picture! And by the way, red crayon comes out really easily, but so far I can't figure out how to get the black off- any suggestions? We'll prob have to paint over it....

On a very fun and awesome note- my little snuggle bunnny took his first two unassisted steps this weekend! What a fun milestone- until I'm at the store alone with both boys and they're both on leashes so they don't run away!

Sick yourself Skinny. Flu your Flab Away!

I'm cashing in on this new fad diet before someone else does. So, I've been on hiatus from everything- even motherhood (God bless my dear husband- Mr. Mom) while I had the worst flu of my life. Thank God I'm about 85%, which compared to this weekend, I feel like a new person! Both boys have been sick with chest colds, but neither went into the flu that I had. And thank God Guillermo is the healthiest person I know- never having the flu EVER- so he took care of us. Praise reports: God really had his hand of protection over Judah, who fell off a 5 foot tall slide while sitting on the top ready to slide down, for some reason he toppled off backwards, landing on his face in the sand, no injuries other than bruising and Quinn has a heinous heat rash that got majorly infected- which we were afraid was MRSA, looks like it's finally healing (and most likely not MRSA). Thank you God!!!

This is the card I would send myself. Not sure where my heathy immune system has gone, but between 2 pregnancies (where babies get all your immunity) and having 2 babies/kids in daycare and having a crazy schedule, we ALL stay sick ('cept Gmo of course). Bleh. We're on the upswing now... so I'll stop complaining.

Happy Days are Here Again!

There are those days that are just a lot better than others, this was one of them... days that are so great wtih family, you forget about stresses of life and money issues. Can you see Quinn's expression in this picture of him sleeping? He's smiling! He's probably dreaming about eating his way out of a wheel of cheese, that'd be my favorite dream! Below, Judah got to help me make cookies and of course help eat them too!

Quinn Finally got his first haircut!!! He was sooooo goood too. Sat there so nicely for the lady who cut his hair!

Look at my new Do yo!

This past weekend we got to celebrate some awesome peeps previous nuptials: now presenting Adam & Lauren Pavao! Yay- so excited to such a cute & amazing couple!

Have I ever mentioned how much Judah loves his Tio (Ivan, Guillermo's bro), and Ivan's girlfriend Kat? Well, he does... kept giving them unsolicited kisses all night! Awesome!

Dude, we're so that family......

Have you ever seen the sketch of the creepy saturday night live family who won't stop kissing each other??

I think we might be that family!!!! Judah and Quinn are obsessed with giving each other kisses. I guess that's what happens when you have the touchy feely kissy huggy parents. :)

Mouska Hey, Mouska Ho, Halloween............

We laughed so hard at the boys in their little costumes. They were so fat and fluffy becuase of the plush costumes. We went to the mall. Judah wasn't sure what to think about going up to people and receiving free candy!  Someone do a DNA test, doesn't sound like the Sherman/Soler genes I know!!!  We thought it'd be a solo family event, and it turned out some of our favorites were able to join us!!  Mimi, Papa, Uncle James and Auntie E!

Mullets + Fried Everything = Fair!

Cotton Candy at fair $17.00, God's Cotton Candy Clouds $Free!

Judah wasn't sure what he thought about the rides, I know he loved them thought, he is my child after all! The brave boy even put his hands up in the air for the "drop" ride!

Yea! Chicken on a stick.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,  Coastal Carolina Fair, these are a few of my favorite things, realizing I'm probably getting too old to enjoy all the rides i once enjoyed- not my favorite thing.
