I though I would never be that mom..... yesterday was a weird day for my two kids. When I picked them up from daycare, they were both the sweet, happy, fun kids I know and love, but that all changed at piggly wiggly. They were both in the double stroller and both of them started crying, Judah threw the biggest temper tantrum and nothing- NOTHING would make him stop. We disciplined him, we consoled him, we put him in the car/cart to divert his attention, nothing worked. We were THAT family with 2 crying kids, one of them the punk toddler with an attitude. So finally after he was pretty happy with a lime and a toy car and Guillermo was holding Quinn and pushing the stroller-and Quinn had finally stopped crying I was finally able to shop for groceries. When we got over to the diary section, Judah grabbed a bag of powder mini donuts off the shelf and started screaming WANT DONUTS at the top of his lungs. I was at the absolute end of my rope. A good parent would've again taken the child out of the cart and go thru the whole cycle of discipline again, but nope, not me- I ripped that bag open and let him eat two donuts. By the time we got out of the store, he looked like a coke-head with powder covering his entire face. Then I rolled by the liquor store next door and slammed a 5th before I went home. JUST KIDDING.

My babies are growing up!! Quinn is rolling over, somehow he manages to get all 17.6lbs to flip over!! Probably because he hates being on his belly so much.......Judah is such a smart, sweet and funny boy. He's talking so much and narrates everything he sees all the way home, every day. If you don't acknowledge what he sees, he'll say it louder and louder. He's in love with cars/trucks/construction vehicles and he's still obsessed with balls, especially basket ball. He asks me when we wake him up in the morning if he can play basketball and every day he gets disappointed that he has to go to school instead of play basketball at 6:45am. Judah is very sensitive to other peoples feelings and is always giving people hugs and kisses -unsolicited. If he does something he shouldn't do, I ask him if he's being mean and he says, no Mama, and comes and rubs my arm or gives me a hug. He gives Quinn slobbery kisses ALL day long- I can see where he kisses him, because there's a big wet spot on Quinn's head or face. Judah is a very, very grateful boy. My Dad bought him a basketball goal for inside the house and he said the day after in the car ride to school, "tank you Pupaaa ba-ket-ball" (thank you Papa for the basket ball goal ) about twenty times, and he says it EVERY single day since then (it's been several weeks).
One day I saw Judah get his step stool out of the bathroom and take it into the living room. This is what he needed it for (he was trying to reach Quinn to give him a kiss)!!
Guillermo is such a good Dad! Every day he amazes me at what a loving and fun Dad he is. Last night he was doing the tango with the boys.... wondering how many years they'll dance with him. ;)
This is what it's like trying to get pics of the boys- ones looking at his magical foot and the other is having a personal party....
Quinn is the most pleasant, happy baby. I am soooo blessed to have two amazing kids. Every single day I look at Quinn and think how is it possible that God has blessed us with two of the best kids. Quinn is still the most snuggly bunny and loves, LOVES kisses. He is obsessed with his brother and just sits and smiles at him every single car ride. Quite the polar opposite of Judah who cried every car ride until he was about 4 months old (thank God, that was about the only time Judah cried).... but anyways.... I love my boys!
I LOVE Easter!! I used to think as a kid that God LOVES Easter so much He always makes this day so gorgeous for His peeps to enjoy and this year was No exception! Anyways, every year I am so moved when I really think and ponder how amazing God is that He is so gracious to us, especially if you're like me and not one ounce of me deserves His mercy.
Easter Bunny came to our house this year, he pooped all over the backyard, so we had to do the eater egg hunt in the front yard! He left "mana" (spiderman- Judah's favorite) and elmo eggs. Judah was hording his eggs like a prisoner at lunch time... I think from him having 9 "brothers and sisters" at daycare, he is getting very protective of his stuff!
