Elizabeth's Aunt, Aunt Glo passed away this past saturday. I only met Aunt Glo once, it was at a party at the Q's house. We were doing an impromptu trailer trash theme party.. Aunt Glo was so awesome wearing a trucker hat and crazy makeup. She was the life of the party and I immediately felt like family to her, she was that open & loving. Thanks to a bone marrow transplant, Aunt Glo recovered fully from Leukemia last year. Within the past few weeks, her Dr discovered she had liver cancer/pancreatic cancer and told her she had a year to live. Heartbreaking, that year turned out to be only a few weeks at most. Aunt Glo has two daughters my age, both recently married and Mesha is pregnant with her first child. Please pray for her family and adoring husband Chris as they struggle to get thru this time. I only met her once and her happiness and love of life had an impact on me.... Aunt Glo, you will be missed!

Ok, so this is one of those you know you're a mom of 2 kids under 2 stories... and let me warn you.. .this story probably has was too much personal info.. so if that stuff freaks you out, just don't read it... .so anyways, today Judah was taking a nap and I was holding Quinn. Quinn had fallen asleep and I refuse to put Quinn down when Judah is taking his nap, because Judah is a really light napper, so if Quinn cries, he wakes up and won't go back to bed... SO... I had to go to the bathroom really badly, but didn't want to wake Quinn up, so I've been trying to hold it for over an hour. (That'll matter when you hear the rest of the story). The doorbell rings, Indy starts barking, wakes Quinn up, and now I have to decide if I'm going to get the door. I realize it's probably the rug I've ordered for Judah's room and so I jump up and run to the door even though I'm in my tiny nightgown with my big pasty white legs hanging out.. I figure the UPS person would have to get over it.. I've been looking for Judah's rug for almost ten months and I was SO excited to get it. So even though I got to the door at least thirty seconds after the doorbell rang I realize that I missed the UPS man and he didn't leave the rug! So frantically I call UPS trying to track him down to return, in the meantime Quinn ends up peeing all over me (at this point I'm about to pee everywhere)- Judah's awake after only an hour because of all the commotion.. I finally go to the bathroom and decide because Judah is ok in his crib and Quinn is quiet on the floor in the living room (he's covered in pee- but I HAD to go to the bathroom before I changed him) I say- this is my chance to take a two second shower. So in the shower I hear the both babies crying, so I jump out, run out to go pick up Quinn, in my towel- when I bend over I realize I just flashed my butt to starlett ave cause my windows were totally open. After I got Quinn changed and settled, I go get Judah who has a giant poop- at this point, I say forget it and take the poop diaper to the back porch still in my towel.. when I return to go feed Quinn, I realize he's had a major blowout. Yay. The ironic part is, the UPS guy actually left the rug, it was just all the way to the side of my front porch, where I couldn't see it when I opened the door.... and just for the record, the rug is AWESOME and it was only $35 from Target.com- a major sale item I've been watching for many months!!
I don't have a picture of my big cowboy on here, but here's the little ones.....

This is a picture of my friend Felicia at her "second" wedding/reception on Folly Beach, her first wedding being a few weeks earlier in England! The place was decorated so pretty, there were grapevines all over the ceiling COVERED in christmas lights.... what a neat ambience! The interesting part about the evening for me was I was three days overdue with Quinn.... I was soooo miserable, huge, achy and pregnant. The only thing that would make me leave my house, hubby and 1.5 year old toddler in tow would be a friend who only comes to america every few years, and one of my best friends birthday party that same night-James' birthday party which we went to after the wedding recption. Also that night, we had a very hard time keeping Judah quiet at the wedding reception and it was even harder to keep him on our laps! We didn't ask my parents to babysit, because we were already relying on them to do LOTS of babysitting and helping out once Quinn was born. So anyways, I'm glad I went to both activities, glad my water didn't break all over the dance floor!! ;)
SO.. the peeps I'm tagging:
1. Lee- I'm tagging you again, you still haven't done it!
Ya'll haven't blogged in 4-eva!

AND we're getting a refund, praise God! Doesn't Quinn look like a little executive with his balding hair and button down shirt?? I just love this kid, he is such a precious baby...
So when Judah is disciplined, we make him say I'm sorry Mama (or Daddy), today he kicked the ball as hard as he could at my backside while I was in the closet, he comes up behind me, hugs my legs and said "I sorry Mama" like he didn't stand behind me, aim for me and kick as hard as he could-that little stinker! Then later I told him, either you drink your sippy or you put it up, but you can't play with it.... he looked at me with a smirk on his face and said "football sippy.....ref (inflatible referee) sippy... soccer ball sippy....truck sippy" in essence saying that every toy in the living room needed a drink, and he was NOT playing with his sippy. What can you do but laugh?
