It's Christmas time, my absolute favorite time of year. I love it so much, I start listening to almost nothing but Christmas songs in Ocotber! I start Christmas shopping in September. I start eating like it's Christmas .... in January! Just kidding. Only over the past year. :) Anyways, one of the best things Guillermo ever said to me was this year when he told me, that I was his favorite thing about Christmas, since I get so excited over it all! Either way, I adore Christmas, every year I dream about what my family can do together, what new traditions we can start, and now I finally have my baby, a dream come true. Unfortunately this year Judah was too young to participate in making cookies or helping with the tree, but you'd better belive he did a good job "cheering" on the sidelines........ "Da da da da da da da da WEEEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEE". One reason I love Christmas is because it makes you really think about how awesome your friends and family are! We are SO blessed with such awesome friends and family. I am in awe how many amazing people we have in our life. Sometimes life seems like it can't be any better. Most importantly Christmas makes you turn your eyes towards God. No matter what is going on in your life, I feel like Christmas and all the "glitter" it brings encourages us everyday to remember the Lord, and the fact that Christ came to this earth for us and made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross! Everything about Christmas reminds me about what is most important in life. I'm including a link below that is absolutely precious. Please take a minute to watch it. It is such a sweet reminder about the sacrifice the Lord made when sending His Son. We are truly blessed and we hope each of you are blessed so much this year!

Snoop's Christmas Elves!

This is one of the coolest things on the web! You can make yourself an Elf! You can even record an elf message!

We had so much fun with our family over Thanksgiving. Judah just loves his cousin Devon (14 months) and tries to touch him all the time. :)

Yea!! Christmas!!

I am obsessed with Christmas! It is one reason I've always been so excited to have kids!! Even at 6 months old, we're trying to include Judah as much as possible. He's our little Christmas elf!

The pretty blonde in the picture is my sister Rebecca, "Auntie Booze"

He's creating a little football monster!

If you know me, you know that two fanatics in the house does not sound fun...... Oh well, I guess this is better than him becoming a shopping addict, like Mom!

Look out. It's the Po.Po.

I had to get a picture of Judah by my Po-Po gear before I eventually have to turn it in.... As soon as I put him near the gear, He shouted, "no one bettah be ridin' dirrrrty"!

The Fair

Ok, let me just tell you, the fair to my family and the Quinton family is a test of the human body. The test is to see how much fried food you can stomach before you're hospitalized or worse. Luckily for my thighs, this year I was too busy riding on rides (making up for lost time from last year) to eat myself into a fair-food coma. Anyways, I discovered that I might be getting too old for rides that make you feel like you're going to plummet into the ground upside down at 50 G's. Until I'm just too old for all the rides, I will continue to be the oldest one on the ride yelling "whoop whoop" (still hoping this cheerful chant will inspire the carnie to let the ride go on for 5 extra minutes). Anyways, I have included some of the best pictures... including Elizabeth having to take care of my child as Guillermo spent our life savings on turkey legs and elephant ears and I was waiting in lines.

Judah, practising his Blue Steel look....

As most of you know some of our dearest friends: James & Elizabeth along with Trey & Michelle Nemeth have opened Wonderland, a children's boutique.... Elizabeth was sweet enough to ask Judah to be one of the baby models. (He was such a diva that day too... he kept asking for bottled Evian and organic bananas!) Here are a couple of my favorites. In case you're wondering who the tattooed man holding Judah is: that's his Uncle James. These were taken by Liz Duren (

Family Picture

It's that time of year again... family pictures for my parents Christmas card.... let me just tell you... it's almost impossible to get a family of 10 to all look at the camera at the same time, much less everyone looking happy and having a normal smile. Not to mention, you just pray that you don't look like you weigh 800 lbs (next year I'm wearing a Santa suit, that should really cover up all the chubb chubb). Anyways, We did get a few pics and I wanted to share....

At work.... Criminal Intelligence Unit hard at work! What what...

Judah & I wore our colors at the Gangsta Party!

I eat real food now. I'm currently eating prunes and really like the food ALL over my face. Now someone better offer me a role as Homey the Clown!

I grow. And grow and grow.

Almost 4 months old.....
Pretty soon he won't even stay still for a kiss from Mama.

Mr. Bumbo

At a month and a half Judah loved sitting in the bumbo. He had a funny little look on his face, like he was proud of being able to sit on his "own".

How a baby changes!

Judah would smile and smile, when babies are not supposed to smile.. they attribute it to gas... but I think when you're born with super powers you can do things like Smile early!
At 4 weeks old Judah was already rolling over. I'm not sure if it's because he was just coordinated at a young age, but more so because he Hated being on his stomach and was determined to change his situation!
Judah has mischief in his eyes and everyday does something new! He's our little monkey.
Judah 2 days old!
We found out we were having a baby and I think we walked around with smiles on our faces for months. Judah was a week late (I thought I was going to go insane!) but worth the wait. After 52 hours (yes, 52!!!) hours of labor, going to the hospital twice and being turned back, Judah was finally born at 9 am sunday morning: 8lbs 10oz., 21 inches long. Judah explained he was so late because he was practising his martial arts skeelz incase he had to drop kick anyone that tried to slap him when he came out! Judah was so alert and strong even from day one. Judah was a spitting image of Courtney's baby pictures for about the first month.

In the beginning... God joined.... the Soler's.....

We got married on December 16, 2005. Everything about the day was blessed and Perfect. We had the "rock star" wedding of our dreams. All of our friends and family are so awesome and helped so much to make our day amazing!
Things we'll never forget:
1. Setting up winter wonderland the day of the wedding at the reception site at JI County Park
2. Brand spanking new Chuck Taylors: EVERYWHERE!
3. A metal version of here comes the bride thanks to some Real rockstars, Ryan, Ryan and Jackie.
4. Beautiful Bridesmaids in some fishnets!
5. Guillermo saying Courtney's lines.
6. A Very inappropriate get-a-way car.
I could go on and on... but I won't.... last but not least....
7. Ivan's toast!
